The world day of science for the world and development still is designated just World day of science. He is marked out annually on November 10 for drawing attention of all people of the planet on importance of education. The offer on inclusion of such holiday in a calendar arrived in 1999 at the World scientific conference that then it was carried out in Budapest. Many supported this idea as understood need of unity of society and science.
World-wide day is celebrated from 2002 second years and always has considerable number of well-wishers and admirers. Day is concentrated on more intensive studying of science by society. Not only children, and and the senior people shall study. Not for nothing the saying "Live and learn" so successfully goes begging. Need every minute to gain new knowledge – not an invention, it is caused by the nature and needs of nature. The world doesn't stand still, and it is necessary to be able to be controlled with progress speed.
UNESCO holds a number of events to prove to ordinary people, this day, first of all, is how important for them. Posters and slogans prepare, lectures at schools and other educational institutions with the purpose to inform the younger generation of importance of science even in their everyday life are given. It isn't surprising that the majority of events is directed to children and young people. Who else as not they, will create the new and unique present.
